Program Eligibility
The BBSI program is open to all U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Applications from students in the life sciences, mathematics, engineering, and computer science are welcome. Applications from students representing minority groups are highly encouraged.
Student Housing and Support Costs
Student support includes:
- Student stipend in the amount of $2,500 for the 10-week summer experience
- Subsistence, including on-campus housing, a meal card, access to use library and recreation/sports facilities, and research fee to provide funds for the projects
- Each student will also be provided with a computer and software to complete coursework and workshop exercises and research projects
